Oleta Adams

Funeral Services for Oleta Carol Adams, 78 Clinton resident will be held 2:00 P.M., Thursday, September 21, 2017 in the Kiesau Memorial Chapel, officiated by Ronald Wesley Starr and Chaplin David Worsham. Burial will follow in the Clinton Cemetery, under the direction of Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. Oleta Adams was born March 9, 1938, to H.O. and Florence (Moxley) Adams in Clovis, New Mexico and passed away on September 17, 2017, in Clinton, Oklahoma. She was raised in Strong City and Clinton. Oleta graduated Clinton High School in 1956. She was a seamstress at Garces Cleaners in Oklahoma City for 55 years. Oleta enjoyed reading, sewing, driving around Oklahoma City, and playing Wahoo. She is preceded in death by her parents, four husbands, Morgan Starr, Oberlin Bates, Don Padilla, and Johnny Whittaker, one brother, Bobby Adams, one step-son, Gerald Bearshield, and one step-daughter, Sophie Bearshield. Oleta is survived by two daughters, Norene Starr, Weatherford, OK and Colleen Bearshield, Yukon, OK; three sons, Moses E. Starr, Yukon, OK, W. Henry Starr, Oklahoma City, OK, and Jimmy Bates, Oklahoma City, OK; step-daughter, Ruth Jon Bearshield, Clinton, OK; one sister, Enid Barnett, Moore, OK; and one brother, Jimmy Lee Adams, Clinton, OK, and many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 43 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.
