Funeral Services for Oreta Fay Mitchell, 81, Custer County resident will be held 2:00 P.M., Monday, July 18,2016 in the Kiesau Memorial Chapel, officiated by Rev. Rick Robart. Burial will conclude in the Butler Cemetery under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. Oreta Fay (Price) Mitchell was born November 21,1934 to Robert James Price and Alma Fay (Thompson) Price in Eagle City, Oklahoma and passed away Thursday, July 14,2016 in the Grace Living Center in Clinton, Oklahoma. Oreta was raised in the Butler area and graduated from Butler High School in 1952. She continued her education at Oklahoma A&M and then attended Burns Flat Technical School achieving her Licensed Practical Nursing certificate. She was employed with several medical facilities including the Bartlett Memorial Hospital in Sapulpa, OK. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, she enjoyed cross stitching, craft work, and in her younger years she enjoyed horseback riding , basketball and singing with her sisters. She was also a hat enthusiast. She is preceded in death by her parents, former husband and close friend, Roy Keith Mitchell, brother Robert James "R.J." Price and a son Rodney Keith Mitchell. She is survived by a daughter, Terri Manos and husband, Mark, of Okeene and a son, Todd Mitchell and wife, Sarah, of Wausau, Wl; two sisters, Oleta Glenn and husband Wendyl of Sherman, TX and Rowena Jones, Clinton and a sister in law, Carolyn Price, Coffeeville, KS. She is also survived by three grandchildren, Ja'Nice Mitchell Lewis, Tess Mitchell and Emma Mitchell and a great grandson, Cohen Lewis and several nieces and nephews.
