Patricia Kay Doran

Funeral Services for Patricia Doran, 78, former Cordell resident will be held 1:00 pm, Wednesday, March 22, 2023, in the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home officiated by Ronnie McKee. Burial will follow in the Lawnview Cemetery under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home.

Patricia Kay Doran was born April 11, 1944, to Oscar Lloyd Doran and Laverna (Botchlet) Doran in Cordell, OK and passed away early Saturday, March 22, 2023, in her daughter’s home in Oklahoma City.

Patricia was raised in Cordell, OK where she attended and graduated from Cordell High School in 1962. She worked for the City of Cordell before staring a 35-year career with the Washita County Commissioners office. After retirement she moved to Oklahoma City to be close to her children.

She was a longtime faithful and active member of the 4th and College Church of Christ. One of her favorite projects was working with the E.D.G.E. PROGRAM in Burns Flat/Dill City Schools. She enjoyed handwork, crocheting, music and her passion was spending time with her grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her son, Michael Dixon and husband, Kevin Moore, and daughter, Lauri Dixon, all of Oklahoma City.

She is also survived by six grandchildren, Carlee Schmittler and husband, Ethan, Allie Dixon and boyfriend, Gavin Chadwick, (and their mother, Lori Garcia), Meaghen Mueller and husband, Andy, Mitchell Moore and wife, Sarah, Marshall Moore and Michael Moore and wife, Claire and five great grandchildren, Emma, Nora, Arthur, Charlotte and C.C.
