Funeral Services for Patsy Hanks, 80, Clinton resident will be held 2:00 P.M., Monday, June 30, 2014 in the Arapaho First Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Wendell Folsom and Rev. Loyd Hall and burial will follow in the Arapaho Cemetery under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. Patsy Mae (Day) Hanks was born along with her twin sister, Peggy on June 22, 1934 to Oan Fredrick Day Bertha Jane (Colvard) Day in Camargo, Oklahoma and passed away early Sunday Morning, June 29, 2014 in her Clinton resident. Patsy was raised in Camargo, OK and graduated from Camargo High School in 1953. She also attended the Vo-Tech School and received her certificate in Business Administration. She marriedClaud Hanks on August 14, 1961 and they made their home in Wellington, TX for a short time and then moved back to Custer County, Oklahoma living in Clinton and then settled in Arapaho in 1973. Due to illness they had moved back to Clinton recently to be with family. She was an active and involved member of the Arapaho First Baptist Church, she enjoyed playing dominoes, sewing, crocheting, and traveling with the senior citizens as well as square dancing. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Fred Day, and a great-grandson, Braydon Sorter. She is survived by her husband, Claud, of the home, three daughters, Pam Belcher, Clinton, Brenda Jennings and husband, Thomas, of Clinton and Penny Hampton and husband, Larry, of Edmond, her twin sister, Peggy Goodson, Woodward, OK, Barbara Arnold and husband Dale, of Woodward and Karen Haney and husband, Gary, of Elk City, OK and a brother, Sanie Day and wife, Edna, of Okeene, OK. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, Amber Sorter, Erin Giles, Bethany Richardson, Alison Belcher, Jacob Jennings, Colby Jennings, Sarah Jennings, Britini King, Brooke Hampton, and Tyler Hampton; nine great-grandchildren, Kyler Sorter, Dyson Sorter, Jacob Sorter, Kinley Giles, Camden Giles, Ethan Richardson, Aydan Richardson, Ace Jennings, and Oan Jennings and a great-great-grandchild, Brently Sorter.
