Peggy Ann Schimmels

Funeral Services for Peggy Schimmels, 85, Clinton resident will be held 2:00 P.M., Thursday, April 28, 2022, in the Arapaho Baptist Church, officiated by Don Lacy. Burial will conclude in the Clinton Cemetery under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. Peggy Ann Schimmels was born February 17, 1937, to Harold Franklin Chandler and Helen Pauline (Moran) Chandler in Quapaw, OK and passed away Monday, April 25, 2022, in the Southwest Integris Hospital in Oklahoma City, OK. Peggy was raised in Clinton and graduated from Clinton High School in 1955. She was employed at the Wag A Bag Convenient Store, 21 years with Homeland Store and 11 years with Cafe Clinton and retired in 2012. She was a member of the Arapaho Baptist Church, she enjoyed reading watching television and just being with friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Lori Cavanaugh, and brother Richard Harold Chandler. She is survived by son, Tony Schimmels and wife, Laura, Custer City, OK; grandchildren, Chad Boggs and wife, Trisha, Heather Pennington, Lea Cazares and husband, Israel, Tre’ Anderson and Nickie Moss; great grandchildren, Breanna Boggs, Chelste Vela, Kaitlyn Miller, Alexis Vela, Lori Boggs, Easton Wall and ChloeAnn Noelle Cazares. She is also survived by a sister-in-law, Sherry Chandler, OKC, OK and her very best friend, Sandra McDown, of MO.
