Peggy Jean Hoffman

A memorial service for Peggy Jean Hoffman, age 80, longtime Clinton resident, will be 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, December 29, 2021, in the Kiesau Memorial Chapel, with Doyle Kinney officiating, and under the direction of the Kiesau- Lee Funeral Home. Peggy was born August 15, 1941, in Thomas, Ok., to Robert “Louis” and Geraldine (Potter) McNeill, and passed away Sunday, December 26, 2021 in Oklahoma City. Peggy was raised in Thomas, Sharon Springs, KS., and in 1957, she moved to Clinton and graduated Clinton High School in 1959. She worked many years in the banking business, first with 1st National Bank, and then with Interbank were she retired in 2002. Peggy married Leon Hoffman on August 26, 1983, in Wheeler, Texas. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Bessie and loved to travel. She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband Leon, her son Robert “Chris” Harrelson of Hartselle, Alabama, two sisters Kathy Heinrich, of Thomas, Jo Anne Woodall, and her husband Lanny, of Clinton, five grandkids, Kelli Williams and her husband Joseph, of Clinton, Shane Harrelson and his wife Jamie, of Clinton, Montana Harrelson and his wife Kirsten, of Canton, Cherokee Teel and her husband Corbin, of Hammon, Alyssa Legg, of Hartselle Alabama, and 9 great grandchildren, Jaron, Jordan, Peyton, Whitney, Bennett, Everly, Ava, Grady, and Lennyn.
