A Memorial Service for Peggy Pollet, 89, Clinton resident will be held 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, February 26, 2014 in the First Presbyterian church officiated by Pastor Carol Waters and burial will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery in Weatherford, OK under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. Peggy Jo Pollet was born March 12, 1924 to Guy Oliver Pollet and Dorsey Ann (Justus) Pollet in Clinton, Oklahoma and passed away, Thursday, February 20, 2014 in the Methodist Nursing Home in Clinton, Oklahoma. Peggy was raised in Clinton and graduated from Clinton High School in 1941. She was employed as a drug clerk at Ross Drug for 30 years and Larry's Medicine Chest for 23 years. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church since 1954 and a longtime member of the Ladies American Legion Auxiliary. Peggy was a lifetime resident of Clinton, where she developed many close friendships, she was a beloved member of the Pollet family and will be greatly missed, by family and friends alike. She is survived by a nephew, Floyd Ray and wife Karen Pollet, of Enid, OK and two nieces, Vickie Adams and daughter Sheila Crawford, Clinton and Gailene Shurley and husband Ron, Mannford, OK. And numerous nieces and nephews.
