Phyllis Jean Donelson

Phyllis Jean Donelson, 77 of Dumas, passed away on January 20, 2015. A Memorial Service is scheduled for 3 o'clock in the afternoon on Saturday, January 24, 2015 at Kiesau Memorial Chapel in Clinton, OK with Pastor Wendell Folsom, pastor of Gospel Tabernacle in Arapaho, officiating. Interment will follow at Clinton Cemetery under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home . Phyllis was born on July 23, 1937 to Albert and Arlene (Hill) Smith in Butler, OK. She had been a resident of the community for most of her life. Phyllis loved her family deeply as well as her church family; they were very important to her. She especially enjoyed singing gospel music. Phyllis was a member of Gospel Tabernacle in Arapaho, OK. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. She is preceded in by her parents; her husband; George "Bud" Donelson; a brother: Albert Smith; and a sister: Omega Zerby. Phyllis is survived by two daughters: Carla Hebb and husband Homer of Bayard, WV, Cathy McEntire and husband Donnie of Dumas, TX; two sons: Jeremy Donelson and wife Jessica of Lake Charles, LA, Michael Donelson and wife Brittany of Amarillo, TX; a sister Beverly of Clinton, OK; twelve grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
