Raquel Martinez Ramirez

April 16, 1935 — July 24, 2024

Raquel M. Ramirez, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, went to be with the Lord on July 24, 2024. Born on April 16, 1935, in Post, Texas, she was the cherished daughter of Roman Martinez and Braulia (Oronia) Martinez.


A devoted homemaker, Raquel found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She had a passion for crafting and beading, creating beautiful pieces with her hands. Her love for collecting toys was a testament to her youthful spirit and the joy she found in the little things.


Raquel was a talented harmonica player and a singer whose voice filled her home with warmth and love. Her days were often spent in prayer, reflecting her deep faith and spiritual connection. A master in the kitchen, she was known for her delicious homemade tortillas. She also had a special fondness for watching "Family Feud," a show that brought laughter and entertainment into her home.


Above all, Raquel was a dedicated mother to her seven children, whom she loved deeply. She is reunited in heaven with her loving husband, Gabriel Ramirez, who she has joined once again. Raquel's legacy of love, creativity, and devotion will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be dearly missed and forever remembered.


Raquel is preceded by her parents; Roman and Braulia Martinez, husband Gabriel Ramirez, sons; Gilbert Ramirez Sr., and Oscar Ramirez, four sisters, and two brothers.


Left to cherish Raquel’s memory are her children, daughters; Angelita “Angie” Rameriez, and Gloria Ramirez, sons; Miguel “Mike” Ramirez, Gabriel Ramirez Jr., Noah Adam Ramirez, Natividad “Nat” Ramirez, and Gilbert Ramirez Jr., grandchildren; Gabriella Jaramillo, Wesley Jaramillo, Andrew Ramirez, Joshua Ramirez, Reymundo Ramirez, Ashley Ramirez, Amanda Ramirez Dezaray Raitt, Natividad Jr. Ramirez, David Ramirez, and Rachel Marie Ramirez, as well as many great-grandchildren, family and friends.


Services for Raquel M. Ramirez will be held Monday, July 29, 2024, at The Crossing, 1300 Dunn Ave, Clinton Oklahoma, at 10:00 AM a visitation will be held and services will follow at 2:00 PM, under direction of Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home.
