Funeral Services for Raymond Bruner, 78, Butler resident will be held 1:00 P.M., Saturday July 15, 2017 in the Kiesau Memorial Chapel officiated by Rev. Jerrod Trickey. Burial will conclude at the Butler Cemetery, under the direction of Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. Raymond Gail Bruner was born on August 9, 1938, to Sidney and Lola (Fortney) Bruner in Foss, Oklahoma and passed away on Tuesday, July 11, 2017, in the OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City. Raymond was raised in Burns Flat before moving to Butler in 1953. He graduated from Butler High School in 1957 where he was also an outstanding baseball player. Raymond married Bonnie Fox on August 8, 1957, in Butler, OK. They soon made their home in Wichita, Kansas for a short time where they worked for Boeing Aircraft. They settled back in Butler in 1959 and Raymond started a long career with the Oklahoma Department of Transportation and retired after 38 years. He also farmed and ranched most of his life. He enjoyed bowling, fishing, playing dominos and his two dogs Lucky and Red. Raymond was preceded in death by his parents, six siblings; his twin brother Ronald Bruner, Richard Bruner, Marge Bizzell, Don Bruner, Sid Bruner, and Bob Bruner. Raymond was survived by his wife Bonnie, of the home, four daughters; Tonya Sanders and husband Tony, Halfway, MO, Debbie Collins and husband Greg, Butler, OK, Cindy Rose and husband Richard, Lawton, OK , Tama Ramsey and Jay Mcahren, Butler, OK ; two sisters, Betty Snider, Waukomis, OK and Iris Fry, TN. Raymond is also survived by 10 grandchildren, Tommy Sanders and wife Neoma, Tara Bardot and husband Bill, Len Sanders and wife Shannon, all of Bolivar, MO, Aaron Collins and wife Stella, Foss, OK, Holly Ausmus and husband Baren, Elk City, OK, Candace Dudgeon and husband Jason, Bessie, OK , Leigh Moore and husband Michael, Dill City, OK, Robert Rose, Lawton, OK, Danielle Wegner and husband Jack, Ponca City, OK, Wyatt Ramsey and wife Hannah, Burns Flat, OK; two sisters in law, Betty Easley, Clinton and Darlene Hansen, Ninnekah, OK, and 19 great-grandchildren. The family will greet guest at the Kiesau Chapel 6:00 P.M. till 7:00 P.M. Friday, July 14, 2017.
