Funeral Services for Reggie Bearshield, 51, Clinton resident will be held 1:00 Wednesday, March 16, 2022, in the Clinton Indian Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Delfred Whitecrow, Jr. and Rev. Gerald Panana. Burial will conclude in the Clinton Indian Cemetery under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. A Wake Service will be held 7:00 P.M. Tuesday, March 15, 2022, in the Clinton Indian Baptist Church. Reginald Lee Bearshield was born July 3, 1970, to Pete Bearshield and Linda (Prairie Chief) in Clinton, OK and passed away Thursday, March 10, 2022, in the Southwest Integris Hospital in OKC, OK. Reggie as he was known by his family and friends was raised in Clinton and graduated from Clinton High School in 1989. While in High School he played the trumpet and was a proud member of the Clinton Red Tornado Marching Band. He married Kristy Sankadota March 16, 2002, in Weatherford, OK. He was a great handyman and loved helping others and served as a Nurse’s Aide. He was a member of the Weatherford Indian Baptist Church; he enjoyed playing hand games, bead work, and was known to be a good cook. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Mary Bearshield and nephew Chazara Bearshield. He is survived by his wife, Kristy, Weatherford, OK two daughters, Melodee Bearshield Lathrom, and Mary Bearshield Lathrom; five sons, Breyden Thompson, Machi Bearshield Lathrom, Reginald Bearshield Lathrom, jr, Preston Bearshield, Santana Bearshield Lathrom, sister, Jennifer Bearshield, Weatherford, OK, brother William Bearshield, Weatherford, OK. Stepbrothers Douglas Goonbi, OKC, OK, Rusty Satepauhoodle, and Kendric Satepauhoodle, all of Apache, OK; Uncle Alton Allen Bearshield, Aunts, Mary Bearshield Beaver, Alice Marque, stepmother Gayle Bearshield, Clinton; stepsister DeeNita Satepauhoodle, Clinton. He is also survived by two nieces that he raised, Talulah Sankadota and , Sweetie Sankadota and two grandchildren.
