Richard Clayton Keeton

Graveside Services for Richard Keeton, 83, former Wetherford resident will be held 1:00 P.M. Thursday, December 10, 2020 in the Clinton Cemetery officiated by Jimmie Pricket and under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. Richard Clayton Keeton was born November 30, 1937 to J.D. Keeton and Julia (Fondren) Keeton in Clinton, Oklahoma and passed away Saturday, December 5, 2020 in the Weatherford Regional Hospital in Oklahoma City, OK. Richard was raised in Custer County and attended school in Stafford, OK. He was married to Virginia Golden on May 15, 1956. They have made their homes in Clinton, Corn and Weatherford. He has been a trucker most of his adult life. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and son Richard “Ricky” Keeton, Jr. He enjoyed playing the guitar and hosting Bar-B-Q dinners for family. He is survived by three daughters, Sheila Keeton, Clinton, Coleen Pinion, Gunnison, CO, and Deana Keeton, Clinton; three sons, Kenneth Keeton and wife Cherie Olson, Cordell, OK Timothy Keeton, and Jeff Keeton, both of Cordell, OK; two sisters, Jo Ann Sizemore, Amarillo, TX and Betty Bingo, Shawnee, OK; brother, Larry Keeton, Tuttle, OK. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
