Richard Warner Brown

Richard Warner Brown passed away Saturday, January 2, 2021 in Clinton Alliance Health from Covid-19 complications. He was born May 23, 1938 to Ira Lee Brown and Edith Fern Barker in Grimes, Oklahoma. Richard was raised and attended school in and Sayre, Oklahoma. He helped his father on the family farm for several years. He moved to Weatherford, Oklahoma in 1978 and was employed with Southwestern Oklahoma State University with the Maintenance Department. He retired after 19 years. He moved to Clinton in 1997 and has been a resident of the Grace Living Center/River Valley Nursing Home for the past several years. He was a member of the Church of the Nazarene and enjoyed being with friends and others. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister in law, Clara Jo Ann. He is survived by a son, Ernest Brown and Barbara, Custer City, OK and a brother, Jack Brown, Cheyenne, OK. He is also survived by three grandchildren.
