Funeral Services for Ricky Kent Wood, 63, of Clinton are 10:00 A.M. Friday, May 17, 2019 at the First Christian Church in Clinton, with Charles Jackson and Gwen Ruth officiating, and under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Clinton Cemetery. Ricky was born September 24, 1955 to James K. Wood and Carmen Lea (Jackson) Wood at Ardmore, Oklahoma, and passed away Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at his home. Ricky graduated Duncan High School in 1973, and married Peggy Whitney on July 4, 2002. He worked in the oil and gas industry for over 35 years. He enjoyed fishing, painting the Clinton football field, watching sports and hanging out with family and friends In his garage. He was a member of the The Crossing Church in Clinton. He is survived by his wife Peggy of the home, 2 daughters Shannon Rodolph (McCary) of Weatherford, Amber Simon and her husband Jason of Elk City, 2 step daughters Rochelle Leonard and fiancé Roman Juarez of Clinton, Robin Tucker (Phillip) of Moore, 4 brothers Rocky Wood, Jeff Treece, Johnny Kirkland, and Danny Kirkland, 4 sisters Jamie Harrison, Kelly Roundtree, Dawn Leslie Cooper, and Lisa Wollever, 7 grand children Arik and Dillon Soto, Cash Rodolph, Chesni and Mattie Simon, and Paris and Rylee Tucker. He was preceded in death by his parents, step dad Don Treece, step mom Ruth Wood, and a step sister Sherry Crawford.
