Ricky L. Lyles

Funeral Services for Ricky L. Lyles, 59, former Washita County resident will be held 2:00 P.M., Thursday, February 28, 2013 in the Kiesau Memorial Chapel, and burial will conclude at a later date under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. Ricky Lynn “Free bird” Lyles was born October 14, 1953 to R. T. and Delores (Tipton) Lyles in Wichita Falls, TX and passed away Saturday, February 23, 2013 in the Wichita Falls United Regional Hospital in Wichita Falls, TX. Ricky was raised in and around Tillman County and Washita County and attended most of his schooling in Cordell, OK. He started his young life out in Grandfield and later moved to Cordell with his family. He began his working career at an early age working on Heavy Equipment in Construction and has pursued that most of his adult life. He recently had moved to Iowa Park, TX to be close to family. He was a member of the Christian Faith; he enjoyed fishing, riding Harley’s and in his younger years he like to Hang Glide.. He is preceded in death by his parents, and a sister, Mary. He is survived by three sons, Tony Lyles and wife, (Sheila), Kansas City, MO, Ricky Lyles, Jr., and Laura Segura, Iowa Park, TX, John Lyles and wife, Izamar, Mustang, OK, two sisters, Sheria Fowler, Iowa Park, TX and Laura Wohl and husband, Danny, Custer City, OK. He is also survived by seven grandchildren.
