A Chapel Service for Robert E. Strom, 69, Weatherford resident will be held 2:00 P.M., Monday, June 3, 2013 in the Kiesau Memorial Chapel, officiated by Jeff McDowell and burial will conclude in the Clinton Cemetery under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. Robert Eugene Strom was born March 17, 1944 to Frank and Frankie (Fulcher) Strom in San Angelo, TX and passed away Friday, May 31, 2013 in the Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City, OK. Robert was raised Clinton and graduated from Clinton High School in 1962. He continued his education at the Southwestern State College in Weatherford. He had worked at various jobs until he was employed with the Weatherford’s 3-M Plant and later the Kodak Company and worked in Quality Control. He retired in 2001. He worked also employed with SWODA at Burns Flat until his failing health forced him to stop in 2011. He was a member of the First Christian Church and he enjoyed fishing, boating, camping and he loved to travel and he loved being with family and going to family gatherings. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Franking Strom, and a niece, Melinda Wilson and a nephew Michael Wilson. He is survived by his two sisters, Donnie Wilson, Lubbock, TX and Linda Parker, Clinton, nieces and nephews, Mitch Wilson, of San Antonio, TX; Dalynna Parker, Stephanie Jones, Julie Parker and numerous great-nieces and nephews all of Clinton. He is also survived special friends, Donna Coats and family, of Weatherford.
