Robert Hargrove

A visitation will be held for Robert Hargrove, 64, Norman resident and former Clinton resident will be held 4:00 P.M. till 8:00 P.M., Thursday, January 28, 2021 in the Tribute Memorial Service in Norman, OK and family will greet guest from 6:00 P.M. till 8:00 P.M. There will be a private burial in the Clinton Cemetery under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. Robert Lynn Hargrove was born March 10, 1956 to Patricia Arleen (Babb) and James B. Hargrove in Prague, OK and passed away unexpectedly at his home on Sunday, January 24, 2021. Robert was raised Wewoka, Clinton and McAlister, OK and graduated from Wewoka High School in 1974. He moved to Yukon and worked in construction as well as working in the oilfields. He later moved to Norman, Oklahoma and worked for the Moore Sanitation Department. He pursued a career in plumbing and owned and operated Absolute Plumbing. He married his longtime sweetheart, Cindy Smit on October 18, 2000 in Hot Springs, AR. They made their home in the country where they could care for their many animals. He was a musician and loved to play the guitar and sing and performed in numerous venues across the state. He was very artistic; he had a special love for animals and took in many strays; he had many four legged friends. He was preceded in death by his father, two sisters, Julie Ronan and Jacqueline Morlan; maternal grandmother, Lynn Babb and maternal grandfather, Cecil Argo and many of his four legged friends. He is survived by his wife, Cindy of the Home, daughter, Lacy Hargrove-Francher and husband, Jordan, Norman; mother, Arleen Harris, and sister Toni Lee and husband, Troy, all of Clinton. He is also survived by two cousins Greg Babb and wife, Judy, and Steven Babb, all of Seminole several nieces and nephews.
