Funeral Services for Robert Joe Hester, Jr., 42, Clinton resident will be held 2:00 P.M. Friday, November 22, 2013 in the Bethany Baptist Church, officiated by Rev. Tommy Adams and burial will follow in the Clinton Cemetery under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. Robert Joe Hester, Jr. "Gutty" was born June 28, 1971 to Robert Joe Hester, Sr. "Chief" and Lola Faye Adams in Berkley, CA and passed away Monday, November 18, 2013 in the Integris Clinton Regional Hospital in Clinton, Oklahoma. Robert Joe was raised in Clinton and graduated from Clinton High School in 1989. While in high school he was active in sports playing football, soccer and basketball. He has lived his life in Clinton and has worked in food service including Pizza Hut and Kentucky Fried Chicken. He was a sports fan, fishing, watching Red Tornado Football, but his passion was his family. He was preceded in death by his son, Robert Joe Hester, III. He is survived by his parents, Robert Joe Hester, Sr., OKC, OK and Lola Faye Adams, Clinton, a son, Zachary Hester, two daughters, Mondessa Hester and Monderra Hester, all of Clinton, a brother, Orenthieal Hester, OKC, OK and a sister, Arlena Miles, Clinton and grandmother, Ida Pearson, Wichita Falls, TX. He is also survived by a granddaughter, Trinityand several nieces and nephews.
