Robert Stanton Giles

Funeral Services for Robert Giles, 73, Clinton resident will be held 1:00 P.M., Tuesday, February 1, 2022, in the Kiesau Memorial Chapel by John Edwards. A private burial will be held in the Chapel Hill Cemetery under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. Robert Stanton Giles was born October 7, 1948, in Albuquerque, NM to Delmar Ray Giles and Norma Jean (Mills) Giles and passed away Friday, January 28, 2022, in the Clinton Alliance Health in Clinton, OK. Robert was raised both in Albuquerque, NM and Clinton, OK. He graduated from Clinton High School in 1966. He enlisted in the U.S. Army Reserve soon after high school and served four years and was honorably discharged in 1970. He married Judy Stitt in 1970 in Clinton. To this marriage three daughters were born: Jennefer, Mackenzie and Julia. He later married Kathy Ann Griffin on June 29, 1990, in New Castle, OK. They became an 18-wheeler team and traveled across country extensively. They made their home in numerous places including Artesia, NM and settled back in Clinton in 2009. He also did heavy equipment and trucking for others. He enjoyed the outdoors and enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Kathy, of the home, daughters, Jennefer Shaw and husband, Jason, Austin, TX, Mackenzie Stephenson, and partner, Justin Martin, Torrance,CA, Julia Jaffa and husband, Craig, Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Diana Livingston, and husband, Shannon, Dallas, TX,Stephanie Jones and husband Shane, Blanchard, OK and Kamber Caulkins, Clinton, brother, Roger Giles, Flagstaff, AZ. He is also survived by his stepmother, Donna Giles, Clinton, 11 grandchildren, Preston Jaffa, Liam Jaffa, Kaia Stephenson, Chase Stephenson, Stella Stephenson, Ian Shaw, Kadianna Mohr, Ike Livingston, Megan Livingston, Falon McKay and Bailey Jones, great grandchildren, Paisley and Waylon, nieces, Jessica Barker and Mandy Modrell and nephew Jeremiah Giles.
