Funeral Services for Roland D. Walker, 76, Midwest City resident and formerly of Clinton will be held 10:00 A.M., Thursday, September 2, 2021 in the Kiesau Memorial Chapel, officiated by Rev. Thomas Perry. Burial will follow in the Clinton Cemetery under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. Roland D. Walker “Pewee” was born January 5, 1945 to Luther T. Walker and Alice B. (Murphy) Walker in Clinton, OK and passed away Thursday, August 26, 2021 in his Midwest City home. He was raised in Clinton, OK where he graduated from Clinton High School in 1964. He continued his education at Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford. He was one semester away from graduating and on September 6, 1966 he was drafted into the U.S. Army. He served in Fort Bliss, Texas and in Vietnam. He received the National Defense Medal, the Vietnam Service Medal with two Bronze stars and the Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal with Device. In December of 1968 he was honorably discharge and he returned home and worked for Pan Handle Eastern in Leedey, OK. He loved playing dominoes, hanging out with family and friends; he just enjoyed life. He is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his son, Roland D. Walker, Jr. and wife, Sara, Boner Springs, TX; brothers, Antonio Smith, Sr., and wife, Debbie, OKC, Gary J. Smith and wife, Mary, Clinton. He is also survived by four grandchildren, Roland Walker, III, Isaiah Walker, Brianne Walker, and Devon Walker; three great-grandchildren, Josiah Walker and Brooklyn Walker and Jeremiah Walker
