Royce Wayne Green

Funeral Services for Royce Green will be held Tuesday March 9, 2021 at Clinton Cemetery, Officiated by Pastor Rick Robart and under the direction of Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. After a short illness Royce died peacefully at home with his granddaughter by his side. After graduating from Clinton High School in 1951; he joined the United States Air Force and served four years before being honorably discharged. During junior high he delivered newspapers for the Clinton Daily News. In high school he attended classes for half days. The second half day was on-the-job training as a printer and typesetter for the paper. After serving in the Air Force, he worked on newspapers in Wichita Falls, Lubbock, and Amarillo, Texas before transferring to Wichita, Kansas where he continued as a printer for The Wichita Eagle until retirement. He moved recently to Justin to be near family. He was preceded in death by his mother Lena Green; sister LaWauna Hicks; and brothers Millard Green, Clayton Green; Willard Green; and Joe Green. He is survived by brother Clyde Green; sisters Frances Hoffman and Barbara Bodenstein, granddaughter Tammie Andrews, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
