Sarah Ann Golden

Graveside services for Sarah Ann Golden, 72, Butler resident will be held 2:00 P.M., Thursday, August 29, 2013 in the Butler Cemetery officiated by John Werhan and under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. Sarah Ann (Willis) Golden was born January 22, 1941 to August and Thelma (Shelton) Willis in Butler, Oklahoma and passed away August 25, 2013 in the Methodist Health Care Center in Clinton, Oklahoma. Sarah was raised in the Butler and graduated from Butler High School in 1949. She moved to Oklahoma City where she worked as a nurse aide. She married Bobby L. Golden on August 27, 1966 in Clinton. They made their home in Butler. She was employed in local nursing homes and at the old Holiday Inn where she worked in the housekeeping department. She and her husband operated the Butler Café in 1975 and then again in the early 1980's. She was a member of the Baptist Church in Mt. View, OK. She was preceded in death by her parents, two daughters, Katena Aldridge, from Carter, OK and Dana Thomas, from Butler, OK and a son, Stacey Golden and Terry Black, of Butler, her sister, Laverne Langley, of Oklahoma City, OK. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Shai Aldridge, Sidni Aldridge, Hali McBee, Dasa Jenkins and Dalton Aldridge, and four great-grandchildren, Riley, Peyton, Noah and Trapper.
