Sharel Ann Morton

A memorial service for Sharel Ann Morton, age 73, of Thomas, has been set for 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, February 7, 2017, at the First Baptist Church of Thomas, with Rev. Timothy Dilly officiating, and under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home in Clinton. Sharel was born July 17, 1943, in Tacoma, Washington, to Elmer and Lillian Marihugh, and passed away Thursday, February 2, 2017 at St. Anthony's hospital in Oklahoma City. Sharel was a loving homemaker for her husband Kenneth Morton, who she married on June 5th of 1964 in Tacoma Washington. Sharel was raised in Port Angeles, Washington, and graduated high school there in 1961. She lived in the Tacoma Washington area, until 12 years ago when she moved to Thomas. Sharel was a member of the Thomas First Baptist Church, loved coloring books, crocheting, and reading books. She was preceded in death by parents, her husband, and a brother Bobby Marihugh. She is survived by 1 daughter Cheri and her husband Kelly Lawrence, of Tacoma Washington, and 1 son Craig Morton, of Clinton, 3 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren.
