Shirley May Reese

Graveside Services for Shirley May Reese, 72, Eagle Pass, Texas resident will be held 2:00 P.M., Monday, January 4, 2020 in the Osceola Cemetery near Butler, OK, officiated by Daniel Mosburg and under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. Shirley May (Mowles) Reese joined the Lord, her father and mother, James and Alma Mowels and her longtime companion, Austin Thomas and first grandson, Clifton, on December 25, 2020 in her home surrounded by members of her family. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Shirley was born on December 29, 1948 in Fabens, TX. Shirley enjoyed sewing, drawing, and writing poems; she loved to garden and spend time with her grandchildren the most. She was also preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, James Earnest Mowels and Myrtle Terry Mowels and maternal grandparents, James Coffmen Williamson and Letha Caldonia (Pruett) Williamson. She is survived by five daughters, Donna Lynn and husband, John, Kathy Jan and husband, Brian, Karen Ann and husband, Ken, Carla Jean and husband, Michael and Sharon Lee; sister, Dorothy Louise and four brothers, Charles Wilson, James S. Weldon, Alvis Gene and Lawson Dwight. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 25great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews and numerous cousins.
