Sol Dixon Hatfield Jr., born on November 24, 1941, in Pueblo, Colorado, to Solomon Dixon Sr. and Margaret (Taylor) Hatfield, passed away on Monday, September 16, 2024.

A devoted husband, Sol shared many joyful moments with his beloved wife, Patricia, as they often enjoyed trips to Oklahoma City together.

He was a dedicated Mason and a faithful member of First Christian Church in Elk City where he served as a deacon for many years. In recent years, he attended First Baptist Church in Elk City, continuing his commitment to his faith and community.

He enjoyed his vegetable garden where he and Patricia would spend time together canning the harvest. One of Sol’s other past times was spending time on the farm raising and nurturing his cattle.
