Funeral Services for Solomon Reed 79, Clinton resident will be held 2:00 P.M. Tuesday May 30, 2017, in the Bethany Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Billy Mucker. Burial will follow in the Clinton Cemetery under the direction of Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Sunday May 28, 2017 1:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. at the Kiesau Memorial Chapel. Solomon Reed was born on December 25, 1937, to Icely Reed in Earlsboro, Oklahoma and passed away on Wednesday May 24, 2017 at the OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City. Solomon was raised in Shawnee and attended Dunbar Schools. He married Theodoris Reed in 1987 in Shawnee. Solomon worked for the City of Shawnee in the BFI Sanitation Dept for 45 years. While in Shawnee, Solomon helped out at the Funeral Home. Solomon and his family settled in Clinton in 1993. Solomon was employed with Charlie's Transmission, Zane's Auto Repair, and Days Inn. Solomon enjoyed doing yard work. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, of the home, step-sons, Garland Brown, Stillwater, Garylon Hurd, Oklahoma City, Jerome Hurd, Albuquerque, NM, Bobby Davis Jr., one sister Elsie Wallace and husband Jimmy, Shawnee, One Brother, Tredell Reed and wife Jeanetta, Shawnee, and a host of grandchildren.
