Stanford Schmidt

Stanford Ray Schmidt, 77, Clinton resident, passed away on Thursday, July 27, 2017, in the United Methodist Health Care Center in Clinton. At his request no services will be held. Stanford was born on August 21, 1939, in Corn, Oklahoma, to Albert E. and Susie (Fransen) Schmidt. He moved to California with his family during the Dust bowl days and attended school there. He moved back to Oklahoma later in life and farmed. He loved fishing and hunting. He was also a dedicated Christian. He is survived by 3 children, and a cousin Doug Fransen
