Funeral Services for Stephen Mark Haggard, 48, Arapaho resident will be held 10:00 A.M., Saturday, August 6, 2016 in the First Baptist Church, Officiated by Pastors Chris Fields, Charles Murphy and Sandy Shepherd. Burial will conclude in the Arapaho Cemetery under the direction of the Kiesau-lee Funeral Home. Stephen Mark Haggard was born April 26, 1968 to Stephen D. and Carolyn Sue (Seabourn) Haggard in Clinton, Oklahoma and passed away Tuesday, August 2, 2016 in his rural Arapaho home. Stephen Mark was raised in Arapaho where he graduated from high school in 1986. He continued his education at Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford and received his Registered Nurse Degree. He worked for Janesville in Burns Flat for approximately 8 years. He moved to the Oklahoma City area and worked for the Veterans Hospital and Integris Baptist Hospital. He furthered his education after moving to Jonesboro, AR and attended the Arkansas State University and achieved his Masters Degree in Anesthesiology. Returned back to Clinton area and had worked for the Elk City Hospital and for the past several years he was employed with the Mangum Hospital until the present. He was married to Brenda Fawver on March 13, 2014 in Clinton. They made their home on the family farm northwest of Arapaho. He was a member of the First Baptist Church and most recently was attending Freewill Baptist Church; he enjoyed reading and studying the Bible, snow skiing, playing games, cards and especially Rook, playing croquet and most of all he enjoyed being with family and friends and one of his favorite times was the Fourth of July and invited everyone over to celebrate. He was preceded in death by paternal Grandfather, Richard Haggard and maternal grandparents, George and Sarah Seabourn. He is survived by his wife, Brenda of the home, a daughter, Kristen Haggard, Yukon, step daughter, Ashely Addinton and spouse Michelle, step son, Joseph Williams, parents, Stephen and Carolyn Haggard, sister, Michelle Garner and husband, David, Anchorage, AK, paternal grandmother, Genevieve Haggard, and Aunt Marie Haggard, all of Clinton. He is also survived by three grandchildren, Aryia Evonia Crawford, Sawyer Addington and Jaron Williams and a nephew, Warren Garner; and numerous other relatives including Aunts Uncle The family has suggested those wanting to give a memorial contribution may do so to the First Baptist Church or to the Freewill Baptist Church in Clinton.
