Private Services for Susan Donley Hays, 65, longtime resident of Clinton was scheduled through the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. Susan was born March 5, 1954 in Clinton to John and Norma (Hatchell-Pratt) Donley, and passed away Saturday, June 1, 2019 in Norman, OK. Susan was raised in Clinton, and a 1972 graduate of the Clinton High School. She was also in the first graduating class for LPNs out of The Western Technology Center in Burns Flat. She met her husband Gary in May of 1969 and married him on August 3, 1973. She worked as a nurse at the Hays Family Clinic of Clinton. Susan was involved in Meals On Wheels, Junior Service League, United Way, Special Olympics, and a member of the First United Methodist Church in Clinton. Susan enjoyed cooking, gardening, fishing, and more than anything she loved her family. She would follow her children to all their sporting activities. Before her death she found her dream home on her Lahoma Street with her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister Karen Donley. She is survived by 2 sons, Scott Hays of Edmond, Ryan Hays and his fiancé Courtney of Edmond, her daughter Katie Hays Musick and husband Aaron of Norman, Dr. Gary Lynn Hays of Clinton, 2 sisters Lynda Donley and husband Michael Brinkley of Norman, Kathy and her husband Jim Strickler of Littleton, Colorado, and 2 nephews Cody and Kyle Kuester of Colorado.
