A memorial service for Tami Elston, 52, former Clinton resident will be held 1:00, P.M., Saturday, June 18, 2016 in the home of her parents, Joe and Cindy Cloninger, 1112 Blackstone, Clinton, OK, officiated by family and friends and under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. Tamyra Lynn Elston was born July 13, 1963 to Cynthia (Everhart) and Danny Elston in Hobart, OK and passed away Friday, June 10, 2016 in Oklahoma City, OK. Tami was raised in Clinton and graduated from Clinton High School in 1983. She continued her education at Southwestern Oklahoma State University where she received her Bachelor's and Master's degree in Psychology. She furthered her education at the University of Oklahoma and only liked a matter of a few weeks of completing her Doctorates Degree. She was a member of the Penn Ave. Redemption United Methodist Church in Oklahoma City. She loved music and could play numerous instruments, including the piano, guitar, banjo, and saxophone and about any instruments that she picked up and had the time to play with it a little bit. She was preceded in death by her son, Shaun Elston on June 13, 2014. She is survived by her daughter, Stephanie Sylvia, OKC, OK, son Ryan Sylvia, Purcell; her parents, Joe and Cindy Cloninger, Clinton and Danny and Linda Elston, Arapaho, sister, Kathy Huckabay and husband, Kendall, Weatherford, three brothers, Bobby Elston and wife, Brenda, of Georgia, Tommy Ladd and wife, Lori, and Christopher Cloninger, all of Clinton. She is also survived by her maternal grandmother, Janie Everhart, Clinton and Bea Bowman, Custer City, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
