Funeral Services for Ted Richardson, 90,a former Clinton resident will be held 10:00 a.m., Friday March 14, 2014 in the Life Fellowship Church in Weatherford, officiated by Dr. Mike Richardson, Dr. Jason Duckworth and Pastor Rick Freeman, burial will conclude in the Mound Valley Cemetery in Thomas under the direction of the Kiesau Lee Funeral Home. Ted Issac Richardson passed away early Sunday, March 9, 2014 in Scott White Hospital in Temple, TX Ted's obituary will appear as he wrote it: I was born in Custer City, OK August 18, 1923 to Marie Storm. I graduated from Custer City School in May of 1942. I worked at the Clinton Sherman Naval Base until February 1st 1943 when I went to the Army. I Shipped out February 1, 1944 on the Queen Mary for Europe. I was stationed in Europe until I shipped out to Omaha Beach France. We had five campaigns in Europe and my Unit was 552AAB and I made all five of the campaigns and I was discharged on October 31. 1945. I went back to Custer City where I met Joye Kimbro and we were married on May 22, 1947. We worked in Oklahoma City the first year we were married then we moved back to Clinton. I worked for Strange Jones Hardware, Mahaney Brothers Parts Store and Sequoya Carpet Mills for years. In the early 1970's Joye and I put in Richardson's House of Carpet and we both worked there until we retired. Then we both helped close out Hoffman Furniture and we both worked at the Cherokee Gift Shop for several years'. We had three children Mike, Steve and Kim. We were baptized and saved in the First Baptized Church March of 1952. I am survived by my wife, Joye of Belton, TX, three children, Mike Richardson and wife, Kathy, Vancouver, Canada, Steve Richardson, of Clinton, OK and Kim Duckworth and husband, Jason, Belton, TX, 10 grandchildren, Josh Richardson, Timothy Richardson , Mark Andrew Richardson, Isaac Richardson, Adam Richardson, Luke Duckworth, Stephanie Richardson, Leah Duckworth, Natalie Richardson, Lindsey Duckworth and six great-grandchildren, Reece Richardson, Quade Richardson, and Carter Richardson, Annalee Richardson, Blaze Richardson, and Elin Richardson The family will greet guest 6:00 P.M. till 7:30 P.M., Thursday, March 13, 2014 at the funeral home.
