Terry Lee Osborn

Funeral Services for Terry Osborn, 76, former Clinton businessman, will be held 2:00 P.M., Monday, December 5, 2022, in the Cornerstone Church, officiated by Brother Roy Dobbs, Jerrod Nunn and Merlanda Dorman. Burial will follow in the Clinton Cemetery under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home.

Terry Lee Osborn was born June 15, 1946, on the family farm to John and Joyce (Cofield) Osborn in Harper County, OK and passed away Friday, December 2, 2022, at his Clinton home.

Terry was raised in Rosston, OK where he graduated from high school in 1964. Soon after high school he enlisted in the U.S. Army and proudly served his country for eight years.

He married Sue Tuxhorn in 1969 in Guymon, OK and to this union daughters, Angela and Tara were born. Sue preceded him in death in 1998.

He later married Dana Peters-Kinder in 1999 in Piedmont, OK and added to his family stepdaughter, Kasey and stepson, Chad.

He worked a total of 51 years as an automotive parts manager and store owner. He started out at Wadley Chevrolet as parts manager in Guymon, OK and then moved to Clinton, OK in 1977, where he was employed with Buck Chevrolet. He later opened and operated his own business, Terry’s Auto Parts and at its closing worked for Doug Gray Dodge, Chrysler and Plymouth Dealership in Elk City, OK. He retired but still was active helping Janice Harris in the NAPA Auto Parts Store.

He was a faithful and active member of the Cornerstone Church. He continued his education at Panhandle State. . He enjoyed collecting and restoring antiques; he also enjoyed a hobby with his wife, Dana, stocking and working antique booths.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Sue and a sister, Sheryl McGuire.

He is survived by his wife, Dana, of the home, two daughters, Angela Tucker and Chris Gonzales, and Tara Brown and husband, Damon, and three sisters, Carolyn Goldston, Patti Stevens and brother, Scott Osborn and wife, Julie and sister Penny Merkerison.

He is also survived by four grandchildren, Cole Crider, Kori Setzer, Ryan Witherspoon and Taylor Witherspoon, stepdaughter, Kasey Barton and husband, Brandon and their children, Benjamin, Hannah and Morgan and stepson, Chad Kinder and wife, Gayla and their children, Natalie and Carson.
