Thomas Charles Dawson

Funeral Services for Thomas Charles Dawson, age 81, lifelong resident of Hobart, will be 1:00 P.M. Friday, February 28, 2020, at the Ray and Martha’s Funeral Home Chapel, with Justin Munden officiating, and under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Hobart Rose Cemetery. Thomas was born July 21, 1938 in Hobart to Jack and Clarene Dawson, and passed away Sunday, February 23, 2020 at the St. Anthony’s Hospital in Oklahoma City. Thomas was raised in Hobart and graduated high school at Hobart High School in 1956. After graduation he served our country and enlisted in the United States Navy. He married the love of his life Betty on July 17, 1957. He was a lifetime member of the Hobart American Legion. Thomas retired from the department of corrections, working at the Granite Reformatory. His hobbies included hanging out and doing anything with his wife Betty, going to any casino, and loved any pretty girl he met, always flirting with her.
