Memorial Services and military honors for Thomas E. Fleming, 74, Clinton resident will be held 2:00 P.M., Monday, December 13, 2021 in the Kiesau-Memorial Chapel. Services will be officiated by T.C. Perkins and under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. By his request he was cremated and his ashes will be interred in the Ft. Sill National Cemetery. Thomas Edward Fleming was born December 17, 1946 in Sandusky, Ohio and passed away Sunday, December 5, 2021 in the Clinton Veterans Center in Clinton, OK. Thomas was raised in Ohio where he graduated from High School 1965. He enlisted in the U.S. Army on August 5, 1966 and served in Vietnam and was honorably discharged with military honors in July of 1968. He played Semi-pro football. He has spent most of his adult career in the oilfields. He moved to Florida and worked for a farmer as well as construction work. He moved to Thomas, Oklahoma and worked for Dobbins Harvest Crew. He also started working for Hamm and Phillips Service Company in January 1994. In 1999 he transferred to Worland, WY; 2011 he moved to Williston ND and back to Oklahoma in 2018. While living in Thomas, OK he operated a restaurant in the Owl Motel and loved cooking. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. His passion was building and selling guns. He was the man that would help anyone in need and he would find a friend everywhere he went. He liked children and like telling them stories. He most recently has been a resident of the Clinton Veterans Center and enjoyed listening to country music and watching videos. He is survived by his veteran’s center family, close friends and his hunting buddies.
