Mass of Christian Burial for Thomas Marelli, 58, Houston, TX resident will be held 10:00 A.M., Thursday, July 15, 2021 in the St. Mary’s Catholic Church, officiated by Father Balaswamy Mandagiri. Burial will conclude in the Clinton Cemetery under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. Thomas Giuseppe Marelli was born January 8, 1963 to Mary Virginia (Lee) and Angelo Marelli in Milan, Italy and passed away Sunday, July 11, 2021 in the Memorial Herman Memorial City Hospital in Houston, TX. Thomas was raised in Italy and moved to Clinton, OK when he was 17 years with his parents. He attended St. Johns Catholic School in Kansas before attending Oklahoma University in Norman where he also received his masters Degree. He was currently trying to complete his degree in fine arts in Houston, TX. He was a mechanical engineer and an accomplished artist. His artistic name is Indaco. He has made his home in Houston, TX since 2000. He was employed with Ruhrpumpen Engineering Company. He married Silvia Estrada on February 25, 2008 in Houston, TX. He is a member of the Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbia. He was a craftsman’s; he is an avid Oklahoma University Football Fan, he enjoyed watching his son play soccer, he loved the outdoors and traveling and his passion was gardening. He is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Silvia, of the Houston home; two sons, Luca Marelli and Julian, both of the home; daughter, Anna Marcelli, of North Carolina and his sister Luciana Powell, El Paso, TX. He is also survived by his two grandchildren, Jordan Marcelli and Audric Lanouette, of North Carolina. Rest in peace, art, love, and freedom Tom-Indaco.
