Tilmon "Tim" C. Mullins

A Visitation and viewing will be held for "Tim" C. Mullins, 93 Arapaho resident. The family will greet guest Sunday, 6:00 P.M., to 8:00 P.M., Sunday, July 23, 2017, in the Kiesau Memorial Chapel. A private family graveside service will be held in the Arapaho Cemetery and under the direction of Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. Tilmon C. Mullins was born on January 2, 1924, to Mac and Sally (Blaylock) Mullins in Hammon, OK, and passed away on Tuesday, July 18, 2017, in his Arapaho home. Tim was raised and attended school in Hammon. He did farm labor before enlisting in the United States Army in 1948 and served until 1950. He married Edythe Marie Downey on March 6, 1954 in Cheyenne, OK. They lived their entire married life in Arapaho. Tim had over a 30 year career with the Soil Conservation service, serving as a Core Drill Specialist. After his retirement he was employed at the Custer County Court House as their custodian. Tim was well known for antique collecting and he enjoyed gardening. Tim is preceded in death by his parents, wife, Edythe, son Ronald Gene Henderson, six sisters, Ruth Lacy, Lenora Clark, Leona Buford, Marie Eakins, Agnes Lowry and Louise Tucker, two brothers, Horace Mullins and Carl Mullins. Tim is survived by three daughters Ramona Lund, Clinton, OK, Ree Corbin, Weatherford, OK, and Kaye Edwards, Oklahoma City, OK, one son, Eddie Henderson, Arapaho, OK, one sister Lavelle Allen, Amarillo, TX. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren.
