Timothy M. Powers

Memorial Services for Timothy M. Powers will be held 11:00 A.M., Saturday, June 12, 2021, in the Freedom Worship Center in Thomas, OK officiated by Pastor Jerry Yoder and under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. Timothy Mark Powers was born November 11, 1958, to Curtis and Irene (Metzer) Powers in Thomas, OK and passed away May 28, 2021, in his Custer City home. At a young age the family moved to California for a short time and then they returned back to Oklahoma and settled in Lawton. He married Terri Jones on March 22, 1980, in Lawton, OK. He worked as an auto-mechanic, doing auto body work, and he worked in the salvage yard with his father. He moved to Sacramento, CA in 1986 and again returned to Oklahoma in 1990 where he made his home in Custer City. He had a green thumb and enjoyed gardening, working with plants, and doing yard work, keeping vehicles and lawnmowers running. He was quite the jokester and loved to make others smile, laugh and just be happy. He is preceded in death by his parents, Curtis and Irene Powers and a brother, David Powers. He is survived by his wife, Terri, of the home, daughters, Amanda Childers, Ft. Worth, TX, and Carrie Powers and Mimo Gonzales, Custer City, OK. He is also survived by four grandchildren, Taitem Powers, Kylie Goforth, Apollo Gonzales and Jade Holden and nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews
