Graveside services for Tommy Blackbird, 87, of Butler, for 10 AM Friday, April 17, 2015, at the Butler Cemetery in Butler OK. Under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. Tommy was born July 17, 1927 in Stilwell Ok to William and Carrie (Guinn) Blackbird, and passed away Wednesday April 15, 2015, in Cordell, Oklahoma. Tommy was raised in eastern Oklahoma, and attended school there, he worked hard his whole life as a Farm Hand. He moved to Butler OK, in 1971. He enjoyed building bird houses and Fishing. Tommy was preceded in death by both is parents, his wife Gladys, 5 sisters, Leora Murphy, Judy Brewer, Oleta Bunch, Louisa Blackbird, and Georgia Ward. He is survived by his daughter Shirley Hubbard, of Tahlequah, 2 step daughters Geogena Ray of Elk City, and Mary Bradley of Ft Walton Beach FL., 1 son Kenneth Blackbird of Tahlequah, 3 step sons Dick Gray of Butler, Lester Gray of Sayre, and Billy Baker of Elk City.
