A Memorial Service for Twanna Sutton, 77, Clinton resident will be held 11:00 Thursday, April 4, 2013 in the First Baptist Church, officiated by Rev. Jim Westmoreland Rev. Terrill Mitchell and under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. Twanna June (Cutberth) Sutton was born June 27, 1935 to Lee and June (Long) Cutberth in Butler, Oklahoma and died Monday, April 1, 2013 in the Angelwood Assisted Living Center. Twanna was raised on the family farm now known as Cutberth Landing at Foss Lake and attended Butler Schools. She married Merton “Bud” Hughes in 1951 in Butler and they made their home in Hammon. She ran the Hammon Drug Store for several years as well as selling insurance. She eventually made her home in Clinton and worked for Shantel Jewelers for over 15 years. She was an active and faithful member of the First Baptist Church; she loved to garden; play cards, and travel with her fellow church members. She truly enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and she loved to shop with her daughter, Sandy. She had a unique talent for decorating and excelled in fashion. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, Dale Lee Cutberth. She is survived by a daughter, Sandy Cornell and husband, John, of Clinton and a son, Randy Hughes, of Hammon, five grandchildren, John Lee Cornell and wife, Kelly, April Thompson and husband, Joey, Daniel Lee Hughes and wife, Chelsea, John Michael Cornell and John Paul Cornell and four great grandchildren, Jett Thompson, Josh Thompson, Hunter Hughes and Jacob Thompson.
