Funeral Services for Virginia “Gina” Thompson, 73, Cordell resident will be held 10:00 A.M., Monday, April 18, 2022, in the Kiesau Memorial Chapel, officiated by Ronnie McGee. Burial will follow in the Lawnview Cemetery in Cordell, OK under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. Virginia Lee (Little) Thompson was born September 7, 1948, to George W. Little and Beulah Mae (Nease) Thompson in Greensburg, KS and passed away Wednesday, April 13, 2022, in her home in Cordell, OK. Gina was raised in Greensburg, KS where she graduated High School in 1967. She married Robert “Bob” Lee Thompson on May 27, 1967, in Greensburg. They traveled for several years with work before settling in Oklahoma. She attended Burns Flat Tech School and earned her Licensed Practical Nursing Certificate in the early 90’s. She has worked in home health for several years as well as hospice. She was an avid pianist and painter, she liked to work in her flowers and garden and loved her animals. She was preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Bill Little. She is survived by her husband, Bob, of the home, daughter, Misty Garling and husband, Kenneth, Elk City, OK, son, Lee Thompson and wife, Tabby, Cordell, OK; sister, Harriet White, Bellavista, AR. She is also survived by six grandchildren, Rhett Jones, Alexa Thompson, Kenneth Garling, Jr., Ruben Garling, Bobbi Davis and Haley Symons and 11 great-grandchildren.
