Private Services for Virginia V. Lively, 83, Clinton resident will be held for family in the Chapel of the Kiesau Memorial Chapel, officiated by Doyle Kinney and under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. Virginia Viola Lively was born November 9, 1937 to Vernon Moody and Mona V. (Mollering) Moody in Pierce City, MO and passed away Sunday, December 27, 2020 in her Clinton home. Virginia was raised in Missouri and Borger, TX. She graduated from Borger High School in 1955. She married Don Lively on February 18, 1956 in Borger, TX. Mr. Lively was in the military and the young couple made their first home in Germany. They later made their homes in Columbus, GA, Huntsville, Alabama and then settled in Vici, OK. They owned and operated Lively’s Way Quickshop in Vici and retired after 20 years. They moved to Clinton in 1990 and Mr. Lively preceded her in death in 1995. She was a member of the Baptist Church; she enjoyed cooking, sewing and help care for her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Donnie Ray Lively and brother, Vernon Wayne “Buddy” Moody, sister, Erma Jean Miner. She is survived by three daughters, Ladonna Roedell, Clinton, Connie Grady and husband, Donny, Durant and Shirley Weaver and husband, Jim, Atlanta, GA; son, Sam Lively, OKC, OK; sister, Mary Clark, Joplin , MO. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
