Memorial Services for Walter W. Bogdan, Jr.,72, Hyde Park, NY resident will be held 2:00 P.M.. Sunday, May 1, 2016 in the Hydro Masonic Cemetery officiated by Lee Johnson. Arrangements are under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. Walter W. "Wally" Bogdan Jr., was born December 22, 1943 to Walter, Sr. and Dorothy (Bokun) Bogdan in Scranton, PA and passed away Friday, April 22, 2016 in the Poughkeepsie, NY Hospital. He was raised in Scranton, PA and graduated from Scranton High School. He enlisted in the U.S. Air Force on 26 September 1962 and received his honorable discharge on 23 September 1966. He spent most of his life as a certified Plumber and he worked for Home Depot and retiring in 2000. He is preceded in death by his parents. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, and fishing. He is survived by his significant other for over 20 years, partner and friend, Julie Santiago, of the home, son, Kevin Bogdan and wife, Jan, Hydro, OK and daughter, Linda Bogdan Waldrop, Glenpool, OK and a brother, Ken Bogdanovich and wife, Mary, Scranton, PA. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, one great-grandchild and five nieces and nephews.
