Funeral Services for Wanda (Jefferson) Pitts, 74, Clinton resident will be held 11:00 A.M., Monday, December 16, 2019 in the Kiesau Memorial Chapel officiated by (her brothers) Pastor Joe Jefferson and Pastor Mikel Jefferson. Burial will conclude in the Clinton Cemetery under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. Wanda Marie (Jefferson) Pitts was born September 7, 1945 to Clifford and Marie (Smith) Jefferson in Clinton, OK and passed away Sunday, December 8, 2019 in the OU Medical Center in Edmond, OK. Wanda was raised and attended school in Clinton. She married Charles Pitts August 25, 1961 in Clinton. He was serving in the Military and they traveled extensively. She returned to Clinton and worked for Multi-County Youth Services in the Children’s Shelter. She was a member of the True Gospel Christ Holy Sanctified Church; she enjoyed fishing and playing cards. She is preceded in death by her parents and a granddaughter, Jasmine. She is survived by a daughter, Tosha Pitts, and a son C.J. Pitts, Jr., sister, Diane Fisher, all of Clinton; four brothers, Clifford Jefferson and wife, Carolyn, OKC, OK, E.L. Jefferson and wife, Linda, Houston, TX, Joe Jefferson and wife, Linda, Clinton and Mikel Jefferson and wife, Evelyn, of New Jersey. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
