Funeral Services for Weleda “Blue” Intemann, 91, Cordell resident will be held 10:00 A.M., Friday, March 15, 2013 in the Peace Lutheran Church in Bessie, Oklahoma, officiated by Rev. Rob Spicer and burial will follow in the Peace Lutheran Cemetery under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. Weleda Elfreda (Buehler) Intemann was born March 31, 1921 to Otto and Elizabeth (Weil) Buehler in Clinton, Oklahoma and passed away early Tuesday, March 12, 2013 in Corn Heritage Village in Corn, OK. Weleda or “Blue” as she was affectionately known by family and close friends was raised south of Clinton. She attended schools at Malson and Clinton. She married Reinhold Henry Intemann on June 15, 1941 in Bessie. The Intemanns made their home in Bessie until 1979 when they moved to Cordell. She had been employed with the Robertson Factory Inc. in Cordell; she was a folder and inspector retiring after 24 years. She was a lifelong faithful member of the Peace Lutheran Church, being baptized on April 24, 1921 and confirmed in the faith on May 31, 1936. She enjoyed quilting, embroidering, working in her flower beds and grooming he prize roses; she was well known for her great cooking. She spent many hours caring for her great-grandchildren, Preston and Paxton and they became her passion in life. Preston gave her the name “Blue” when he was little because of the color of her hair. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and two sisters, Ella Wagner and Lavera Buehler. She is survived by a daughter, Madonna Etris and her husband, James, Cordell, two grandchildren, Mark Etris and his wife, Lori, Glenpool, OK and Janis Switzer and husband, Daren, Cordell, OK. She was also survived by four great-grandchildren, Heath Etris and his wife, Mai, Shane Etris, Preston Switzer and Paxton Switzer and a great-great-granddaughter, Charlie Etris.
