Funeral Services for WilfordFransen, 74, Clinton resident will be held 2:00 P.M., Monday, March 31, 2014 in the First Mennonite Church officiated by Rev. Dave Gerbrandt and burial will follow in the Clinton Cemetery under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. Wilford Orin Fransen was born July 19, 1939 to John W. and Zelma (Schmidt) in Weatherford, Oklahoma and passed away Thursday, March 27, 2014. Wilford was raised in Corn, Weatherford and Clinton, he attended school in Clinton and graduated from Clinton High school in 1957. He had worked for the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture as a Boll Weevil Inspector and has worked farm labor for a number of years. He attended the First Mennonite Church, looking for treasures, collecting old cars and just simply riding around. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Gayle Kelley. He is survived by a sister, Joan Fransen, of Clinton and Gordon Fransen, Lubbock, TX and a special Friends Norma Fisher and her family, of Clinton. He is also survived nieces and nephews.
