William Jackson Murray Sr.

Funeral Service for William Jackson Murray, 42, Clinton resident will be held 1:00 PM, Saturday, August 17, 2024, at the Clinton Emergency Resource Center, Clinton, OK officiated by Rev. Gerald Panana. Burial will conclude in the Clinton Indian Cemetery under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home.

A Traditional Wake Service will be begin at 7:00 PM Friday, August 16, 2024, in the Clinton Emergency Response Center.

William Jackson Murray was born June 25, 1982, in Shawnee, OK to Howard Kerwin Murray Sr. and Anna Fern Lowry. He passed away Monday, August 12, 2024, in Lexington, OK.

William attended Clinton Public Schools and began a career in construction as a roofer. William was a member of the Cheyenne Arapaho Tribe who loved spending time with family and friends, eating, joking and exercising.

He was preceded in death by his father and mother of his children, Amy Whiteshirt.

He is survived by his mother, 2 sons William Murray Jr. and Eliseo Walton, 2 daughters, X’Zaylia Murray and Zandria Murray, 2 grandchildren Jackson and Roman, and 2 brothers Phillip Murray and Brian Murray.
